Reserving a Date
Sweet Clover Farm requires a non-refundable deposit of $500 to hold your date and the remaining balance is due 15 days prior to the event. The Friday before your event, we will ask for a credit card account number, expiration date and CVC number on the reverse side of the card. This will be held until the end of your event in case of property damage or equipment, etc.
Due to Event Venue Business and booking for weddings that can be booked several months in advance, once we sign a contract to hold your chosen date, we make that date unavailable for anyone else. Therefore all payments are non-refundable.
Rehearsal & decorating is Friday from 4:00 p.m.- 7:00 p.m. If you choose to include a rehearsal dinner there is an additional charge of $300. We allow an extra 2 hours for your dinner and curfew is 9:00 p.m.
Access on Wedding Day
Your wedding party may have access to the property at 11:00 a.m. Saturday. Bride and her attendants may access the cottage no earlier than 8:00 a.m. on Saturday morning. On Sunday morning the wedding party may have access at 12:00 p.m. and bride and her attendants may access the cottage no earlier than 10:00 a.m.
Our newly remodeled reception building has a barn feel with wagon wheel chandeliers and white round tables and chairs to hold 200 guests. There is a separate space adjacent to the reception area that can be used for catering services as well as cake table and/or gift table, memory table or photo booth. For your catering needs and wedding party we also offer (7) 8′ long rectangular tables, ( 1 ) 5′ round table and (1) 5′ rectangular table.
Sweet Clover Farm offers the bride, her attendants and family members a space to relax and share conversation while getting ready before the ceremony. The cottage is air conditioned and furnished with a table and chairs, refrigerator, dressers, mirrors, led lighting for make-up and hair, plenty of seating and a private dressing area.
Reception Barn and buildings are already trimmed with white lights. You may add your floral arrangements and table decorations. For your convenience, hooks are placed on the wall’s for decorating so no need for screws, staples or nails. Confetti, sparklers or any type of fireworks are not permitted. Also for your decorating needs, you may use barrels, Cedar Arbor and big round hay bales (not to exceed 8) for photo’s if desired at no charge.
Please feel free to choose your own vendors for your caterer, music, officiate, hair and/or makeup artist and photographer.
Sweet Clover Farm does not supply or sell alcohol and Bartenders are not provided. No glass beer bottles allowed. Please remember that it is illegal to serve alcohol to anyone under the age of 21 and failure to this law will not be permitted. Illegal, disrespectful, destructive and unruly behavior will result in immediate removal from the property.
Courtesy rides are available for guests needing assistance and reserved parking is available for the handicap and vendors. There will be 2-3 parking attendants to assist guests for parking.
You are responsible for removing any decorations, signs, catering items, etc. that you brought with you. Cleanup is advised before the 11:00 p.m. curfew. There will be a $200 charge for the first hour exceeding the curfew time and will increase by $200 every hour after that. If there are remaining items the next day, please make arrangements to have them removed before 11:00 a.m.
Liability & Damages
You will be responsible for payment of any and all damages to property and/or buildings of Sweet Clover Farm caused by you or any of your guests. This includes payment of reasonable attorney fees. You agree to hold harmless Sweet Clover Farm and its employee’s of any damage, liability or injury suffered by you or any guest’s while on Sweet Clover Farm property.
Sweet Clover Farm reserves the right to take photographs of rental events for its own records and for use in advertising or promotions.
